BOSTON STRONG!
For the tragedy that occurred on Monday, April 15, 2013 known as the Boston Marathon Bombings we cannot forget those who lost their lives that day, suffered injuries, or was a family member, or friend of someone who was affected by the horrific event.
8-year old Martin Richard of Dorchester, 23-year old Lingzi Lu of China, and 29-year old Krystle Campbell of Medford had there entire lives ahead of them.
During a car jacking that took place the night of Thursday, April 18 one of the suspects shot, and killed MIT Officer Sean Collier while he was sitting in his cruiser on duty.
Later that night into the early morning from a gunfire battle between the two suspects, and police of all rankings, Suspect 1 was shot multiple times, and killed by his brother when he backed a car up over his body.
Nearly 20-hours after the first suspect laid to rest the outstanding Law Enforcement captured the second suspect hiding with injuries in a boat.
PRAY FIRST to those who lost their lives during the tragedies that took place during the week of the 2013 Boston Marathon, and to the close to 300 people who were injured that day.
SECONDLY THANK GOD for the AMAZING WORK from the many levels of Law Enforcement who took part in bringing the two suspects to justice.
BOSTON STRONG! means a lot to our city, but everyone also has to remember those of 9/11, Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the Aurora, Colorado shooting at a movie theater, and take a moment of silence to remember the people who lost lives to these tragic moments. We have to think of these people, and also have to be thankful that we are living in the United States of America.
BOSTON STRONG! goes along way, but we also should be saying God Bless the U.S.A.
