Tewksbury/Wilmington Advocate - Tewksbury & Wilmington, MA
(August 2009-present)
The Tewksbury Advocate is a local newspaper that covers everything in the town of Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Starting to write professionally for the Billerica Minuteman (July 2009-Oct. 2010), I was introduced to the Tewksbury Advocate from Max Bowen, the editor of the Billerica Minuteman.
One day, I called my editor, and told him that I know a comedian named Dave Russo, who lives in Tewksbury, and asked if I could feature him in my next article. Bowen told me that the 'Minuteman only covers Billerica events, but said I could call the Tewksbury Advocate editor, and tell him about the story.
From the moment I talked to the editor of the 'Advocate, it has been all uphill as I have covered an arms worth of stories ... simply meaning, I have published a ton of articles in the Tewksbury Advocate.
Jason "Mac" MacEntire is the editor of the Tewksbury Advocate as well as the Wilmington Advocate. For this, MacEntire asked me to cover a sports show called "Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club" that took place in November 2009, and ever since I have been writing periodically for the Wilmington Advocate.
