Billerica Minuteman - Billerica, MA (July 2009-October 2010)
The Billerica Minuteman is the first CNC (Community Newspaper Company) newspaper that I wrote for.
Mentioning my internship with 980 WCAP AM once again, as guests came in to appear on different radio programs, it was my responsibility to greet the guests, and have them wait in the waiting room until their time came to be on the show. In that time, I met Max Bowen, the editor of the Billerica Minuteman.
Meeting Bowen, I told him about my writing career with The Campus Report at Middlesex Community College, and The UMass Lowell Connector at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and asked him if there were any openings to write for the Billerica Minuteman that he writes for.
He said they had a few openings, and would see what he can do after reading my resume, and looking at a few clippings of my publications, and needless to say a couple of weeks later I was hired to write for the Billerica Minuteman.
